Dutch Oven Blackberry Cobbler
- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ¼ cup of sugar (held separately)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups milk
- 5 cups blackberries
Pre-heat oven to 350 F.
On top of the stove, melt the butter in a 4-quart Dutch Oven. While the butter is melting, mix the self-rising flour with the 1 ½ cups of sugar, cinnamon, and milk. Stir well. Pour the batter into the pan of melted butter, then drop the berries in on top. Sprinkle with the last ¼ cup of sugar.
Bake at 350 F until done, usually 50 min to an hour.
